Plain language. Each quote we send restates the terms that apply to that order, and the quote governs if the two differ.
Made to order
Pieces from the Series are built to order in the finish and size you specify. Work begins on receipt of the deposit and a signed quote. 50% deposit to begin, balance before shipping.
Lead times on each piece are estimates from the date the deposit clears, and we confirm them in writing when we accept the order. We tell you early if a stone, a glass or a plating run moves the date.
Because every piece is made for you, made-to-order pieces cannot be returned or cancelled once work has begun. If a piece arrives with a defect in materials or workmanship, we repair or replace it.
Restored pieces
Restored fixtures are one of a kind. Each listing describes the piece, its period, its condition and the work we did. Original surfaces, patina and small marks of age are part of the piece and are not defects.
Restored pieces are sold as described. Tell us within five days of delivery if a piece does not match its description, and we will take it back and refund it.
Finishes and natural materials
Natural brass, blackened steel and bronze are living finishes: they are hand applied, they vary piece to piece, and they change with time and handling. Lacquered finishes stay as delivered. Raw quartz and amethyst are natural stones; no two are alike, and the stone on your piece will differ from the photograph.
Electrical listings
Lit pieces are wired and UL listed for dry locations as standard. Damp and wet listings are available on request and are noted on the quote. Installation must be by a licensed electrician to local code.
Shipping and delivery
We crate and ship from Long Island City, Queens. Shipping is quoted separately and is not included in the price of the piece. Inspect the crate on arrival and note any damage with the carrier before signing; tell us the same day.
Title and risk pass to you on delivery. Storage beyond thirty days after we notify you a piece is ready may carry a storage charge.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping, installation and sales tax where applicable. Quotes are valid for thirty days. Trade pricing is available to qualified accounts through the trade program.
Design and intellectual property
The designs, names, drawings, renderings and photographs on this site belong to Andreas & Co and may not be copied or reproduced for manufacture.
